Common questions

Can I put my own logo and name on these graphics?

Yes. That's the idea. They have no logo on them so any agent in Florida can use them. There's open space at the bottom left of each one for your name, your brokerage and your logo. Please keep the small credit line and link to FlaglerDave.com.

Do I need to add my brokerage name?

Yes. When you post one, you are the advertiser. Florida's advertising rule (61J2-10.025, Florida Administrative Code) says your ads must show your brokerage's registered name, and online, it has to sit next to your contact information. Follow your own brokerage's marketing rules too.

How often are they updated?

Every month, a few days after Florida Realtors releases the statewide numbers (usually mid-month). Each graphic shows the month its numbers come from, so check the date before you post.

Can I use them on my website, blog or newsletter?

Yes. Under each graphic there's a ready-made snippet for your website or newsletter that shows the image with the credit link. Please keep the link to FlaglerDave.com.

Are they Fair Housing safe?

They describe the market and the homes, never the people who live in them, and they don't point anyone toward or away from any area. If you add your own words, keep to the same rule.

Where do the numbers come from?

Florida Realtors (statewide sales, prices and supply), the National Association of Realtors (U.S. numbers), Realtor.com Economic Research (homes for sale, days on market, price cuts) and Freddie Mac (mortgage rates). Every graphic names its sources and the month.
